The Canadian Cooperation Office (CCO) administered by the University of New Brunswick (UNB) acts as a conduit for Canadian-Bhutanese activities, and serves as an important focal point inside the country for visas, visits and official contacts. The three major roles of the CCO are:-

I  Liaison Office for Canadian High Commission: CHC Delhi

• Donor Coordination on behalf of CIDA

• Monitoring of Canada Fund and other CIDA Funded Projects

• Assisting Canadian organizations and private firms wishing information or advice regarding business and consulting opportunities in Bhutan.

• Advising Bhutanese with regard to Post Secondary study options in Canada.

•  Providing Visa Information and assisting with visa applications and medicals

• Assisting Canadians in Bhutan

• Assisting Canadians with information or advice on Bhutan

• Assisting Bhutanese with regard to information on Canada

• Assisting the High Commission with information on Bhutan

• Assisting with official visits by Canadians to Bhutan and Bhutanese to Canada.
