• Six Educator at UNB for Work attachment

  Six Educators, two from higher secondary schools, two from the Samtse College of Education, SCE (erstwhile NIE) and two from Sherubtse College left for UNB to participate in a professional development program, which is a short-term one-semester work attachment. The selected Bhutanese educators will take credit courses, co-teach and also help develop the certificate courses, which will be offered as Post Graduate Diploma in English (PGDE) at Sherubtse college and Certificate in teaching of Primary English and Mathematics at Samtse College of Education. Sonam Deki and Tshering Choden both lecturers in English at Sherubtse College will help to develop 5th and 6th courses for the post graduate diploma in English to be delivered this winter at Sherubtse College. Sonam Daker, English lecturer from Samtse College of Education and Sonam Tobgye will help develop 3rd and 4th courses for the lead teachers program at SCE, Samtse. Similarly Amber Rai and Tshering Lhamo will work on the teachers’ manual for classes V-VIII.
