• Workshop on Gender Awareness

  Dr. Mary Lou Stirling, Gender Specialist for the SSEB Project conducted workshops on gender awareness at the College of Science & Technology, Phuentsholing, Paro College of Education and for the New English Curriculum (Classes PP – IV) Training of Trainers Workshop at Paro. The workshops aimed at creating awareness of, and dealing with gender-sensitive issues in the curriculums. She also met with RENEW officials during her visit. Mr. Ugyen Dorji, Lecturer from the College of Science and Technology, Phuentsholing returned to the college after the completing his Master of Science in Engineering degree at UNB, Fredericton. His thesis is on Comparison of National Construction Industry Performance through Benchmarking.
