• January 2008: Happy New Year to one and all

  While people were still in the New Year party mood the many determined English and Math teachers involved in the three PG Diploma programs of the SSEB project and their dedicated course instructors carried on their work from the 4th of January to the 4th of February in Samtse College of Education and Sherubtse College. The first batch of teachers enrolled in Primary English & Math Teaching course completed their three-year program at Samtse College of Education. The Primary Teaching of English course was lead by Ms. Joanne LeBlanc Haley and the Math program was lead by Mr. Stephen M. Pierce, both from Canada, along with Bhutanese lead teachers and lecturers. Simultaneously, the PG Diploma course for the Secondary English teachers carried on at Sherubtse College, fully taught by the Bhutanese lecturers.
